Silverton to Monument Valley

I rode this 10 section of highway 163 back and forth 4 times advoiding storms





















I did get wet






The Najaho Indians were loving this rain, i was told.

























four corners of states New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, colorado.






















Heading to Flagstaff I was about to get into some heavy rain for an hour.

Moab, Ut. to Silverton, Co.

Heading to Moab, passed through many small towns
highway 70 rode 97 miles with no services

Utah does offer many rest stops
Stopped to take a break just east of Moab and see what this was about .



A couple made this hole in the rock thier home in the 50s took the tour, no pictures allowed inside, he loved his old mule so much he is stuffed on display in living room. Just above the letter K you can see the firepace chimney he cut through solid limestone

I recommend the $5.00 tour, it was amaxing to see what they carved out.




They collected alot of cool stuff, around the property

Checked into the Grand Inperial Hotel 1882 in Silverton.


















no elevator, glad i was only on the second floor.



















comfortable yet spooky to be staying in here with all its history,
while checking out in the morning, owner told me i had the best bed .
